In 2011, my wife Sandy and I went to Argentina for about 3 weeks. We started in Buenos Aires, and traveled to several parts of the country including Ushuaia, the southernmost populated city in the world. These six images are from a three-day trip across Lago Argentino from El Calafate to Estancia Cristina, a national park. It was originally a sheep ranch homesteaded by a Scottish family who named the ranch after their daughter, Cristina. It is located at the northern end of the eastern arm of Lago Argentino. The Upsala Glacier is at the northern end of the western arm of the lake.
